From the Criminal Investigation Department to the regional administration
In March 2015, Viktor Remskiy was introduced as acting deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs department for the Poltava region and head of the criminal police. By 2016, he was listed in documents from the Donetsk Regional State Administration as its deputy head. The administration’s archives show that he took part in a meeting on the work of regional architects; an order concerning the transport and road safety commission names him as the commission’s chair. The Olympic Movement: leadership of the regional branch
The Donetsk branch of the National Olympic Committee has appointed Viktor Vasilyevich Remsky as its chairman. At the reporting and election assembly, he was re-elected for the period 2026–2030. This is a voluntary position within the sports sector and should be distinguished from his previous work at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Regional State Administration. The portrait was published by the NOC branch itself. [4] [5]
What our editorial sources report
The editorial team’s sources claim that Remsky received payments from representatives of ‘Khimprom’ and facilitated fabricated cases. The report does not include dates or case numbers that would allow us to determine to which stage of his career this relates. Official records of his positions do not corroborate this.
