Visitor information
No registration is required to read publications. If you email the editors, they receive your sender address, message and attachments. This information is used to respond, review materials and handle submissions.
Technical information
The server and hosting provider may process IP addresses, request times, requested page addresses and browser information to deliver pages, diagnose problems and protect the website. Search queries are included in page addresses and may appear in technical logs.
Browser storage
The language panel saves a flag in your browser indicating that you have already made a choice, so the prompt does not appear on every visit. You can remove it by clearing site data. Staff sign-in to the administration area uses WordPress service cookies. The base theme does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
Recipients and retention
Hosting and email services support the website and correspondence. Access to submissions is provided on a work-related need-to-know basis. Information is retained no longer than needed to handle a submission, maintain security and meet applicable obligations. The particular period depends on the data and the nature of the request.
Your request
You may request information about processing of data relating to you, seek correction or deletion, or raise an objection. The applicability of a request is assessed in light of the law, the rights of others and the nature of the editorial material. Identify the data concerned and how you wish to receive a reply. You may also contact the competent data protection authority.
