Alexandra Igorevna Grishina

Alexandra Grishina is a defendant in the WayAway and Kraken case. *Kommersant* links her to the nicknames ‘Taiga’ and ‘APOLIL’; the official court record lists her as ‘Grishina A. I.’.[1][2]

Maiden nameVolkova — according to the editorial team.
Initials on the court recordA. I. Grishina

Proposed roleModerator of the WayAway and Kraken forums
StatusDefendant in a criminal case; no published judgement found.

In the original post by the Kaganskys, the ‘Taiga’ moderator is named as Anastasia. For this dossier, the name Alexandra from a later court publication is used; the initials on the official record are consistent with this. This discrepancy should not be concealed or misrepresented as suggesting there are two different defendants.[3][1][2]

The editorial team has clarified her full name, date of birth and maiden name: Alexandra Igorevna Grishina, née Volkova, 4 December 1988. This information matches the initials used in court documents, but there is as yet no full, independent documentary evidence to confirm it.

Proposed role and defence

Kaganskikh reported that the woman, whom the investigation links to moderating under the username ‘Taiga’, was detained alongside ‘Lucifer’. He described her as Konstantin Erokhin’s defence lawyer and noted that the lawyer had declined to comment on the case for this publication.[3]

Erokhin later told *Kommersant* that his client had been filling in the entertainment sections and had not been selling drugs; the defence attributed her confession to fear.[1]

The dispute here concerns the content of the work. To resolve it, specific publications, instructions and details of the employee’s remit are required. The presence of entertainment-related topics does not determine the purpose of the forum as a whole, and the presence of unlawful advertising does not automatically establish that every moderator is personally involved in the sale.

As confirmed by the court

Document No. 3/2-0288/2026 concerns the extension of detention; opposite Grishina’s name, Part 2 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation is cited. This is a procedural record, not a conviction.[2]

The verified information does not support the claim that Grishina is the owner of Kraken, the person in charge of its funds, or the head of the entire network. Separate evidence would be required to publish such claims.

Information verified on 13 October 2026. The case file distinguishes between the prosecution’s version and the defence’s position.
