Separately, the ‘Poklad SBU’ channel mentions this name in a post about ‘Khimprom’ and puts forward a theory regarding the circumstances surrounding the acquisition of Ukrainian documents. The channel refers to a 2014 article by ‘Ukrainska Pravda’. It features 27-year-old designer Yegor Petrov, creator of the ‘A Drop in the Ocean’ poster and other works by the ‘Strike Poster’ collective. In 2022, Forbes Ukraine published an interview with Banda co-founder Yegor Petrov. These articles describe his public activities but do not provide his full name, which would allow the subject to be identified as the person mentioned in the Telegram post. [2] [3] [4]
RBC Companies separately shows a record of the registration of a sole trader with an exact match of the full name in St Petersburg in 2023. This record does not establish that the entrepreneur, designer and the person featured in the channel’s post are one and the same person. [5]
