Alexander Yuryevich Zhukov

Alexander Zhukov, also referred to as Oleksandr Zhukov and Alexander Zhukov, has been mentioned in reports concerning criminal incidents in Ukraine and his alleged involvement in the theft and embezzlement of cryptocurrency in Indonesia. In Ukrainian reports, his name is linked to a report of a conviction for extortion in 2019, whilst in an Indonesian publication it is linked to a report of a local manhunt in connection with an attack on foreigners in Bali.[1][2]

According to a source at KARTEL KHIMPROM, Zhukov’s alleged activities may have included repeated involvement in robberies, armed robberies and fraudulent schemes. The editorial team is verifying this information and collecting submissions from people who have first-hand evidence or documents. The source’s claims in this dossier are separate from the published information regarding court cases and criminal investigations.

Biographical details and identification

In an article on Gorlovka.ua, which summarises material from Detective-Info, Zhukov is described as a native of Gorlovka. The text also uses the name Alexander Yuryevich Zhukov. This information is provided with a reference to the source: a primary document enabling the patronymic to be independently verified and all references found to be linked to a single individual was not obtained during the preparation of the dossier.[3]

In the material submitted to the editorial team, a person named OLEKSANDR ZHUKOV is listed with a date of birth 20 October 1980 and a Ukrainian national. The origin of the document and the accuracy of this identifying information have not been independently verified. Document numbers, personal contact details and other sensitive information contained therein are not published.

When researching a biography, it is important to take into account variations in the spelling of the first name. Russian-language, Ukrainian-language and foreign publications use the variants Alexander, Олександр, Alexander and Oleksandr. However, the fact that a first name and surname match does not mean that a person can automatically be identified as the individual associated with a particular company, court case or someone else’s biography.

Ukraine: report on a conviction for extortion

A summary of the Detective-Info investigation published by ANTIKOR states that in December 2019, the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv ordered Alexander Zhukov five years’ imprisonment, suspended for 36 months in a case concerning extortion. The publication cites the charge under Part 3 of Article 189 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.[2]

This information is important for verifying his biography, but requires reference to the court judgement itself. During the preparation of this dossier, it was not possible to obtain the original text of the judgement. Therefore, the content of the judgement and the identification of the convicted person are based on information from the publication, rather than on our own examination of the court case.

A suspended sentence cannot be described as five years of actual imprisonment. Furthermore, without subsequent procedural documents, it is impossible to establish with certainty the current status of a criminal record or to assert that a person has breached the conditions of their suspended sentence.

To clarify this incident, the case number, the full text of the judgement, the circumstances of the charges brought and details of any appeal are essential. It is precisely these documents that enable us to move beyond a brief media report to a detailed description of the events as established by the court.

European History: The Conflict over the Hotel Industry

In an article by the Dead Lawyers Society dated 16 October 2023, Alexander Zhukov’s name is mentioned in an analysis of the dispute surrounding the hotel business linked to the family of former judge Artur Emelyanov and their former business partners. The publication describes conflicting accounts of the events: the alleged planning of the abduction of Vyacheslav Izrailit in Frankfurt and the position of Emelyanov, who considered the whole affair to be a set-up in the interests of his opponents.[4]

An important detail: the excerpt from the procedural document published by the newspaper contains initials ‘Zhukov O.B.’, whereas the publication on Balinese history uses the patronymic ‘Yuryevich’. This discrepancy makes it impossible to link the records with certainty. The European episode remains a matter for further investigation and is not presented here as a proven fact in the biography of the individual in this dossier.[4]

Bali: an article on the theft and embezzlement of cryptocurrency

On 13 July 2026, Portal Demokrasi published an article on violent crimes against cryptocurrency owners in Bali. The article, which included comments from criminologist Edi Junaini, mentioned the name Oleksandr Zhukov is mentioned in connection with an incident involving Igor Ermakov and Georgy Nikitin. The publication claims that Zhukov has been on the local DPO wanted list since June 2025.[1]

This is a specific public statement regarding an alleged criminal offence. However, the article does not contain a personal wanted notice or the text of the warrant, which would allow readers to independently verify its grounds and validity.

The same publication mentions difficulties with the prosecution and the issuing of a Red Notice. Therefore, it cannot be used as standalone confirmation that a valid Interpol Red Notice has already been issued. A report on a local wanted notice in Indonesia and an international wanted notice issued at the initiative of another state require separate sources.[1]

International arrest warrant issued at Ukraine’s request

According to information from the editorial team at KARTEL KHIMPROM, Alexander Zhukov is the subject of an international arrest warrant issued at Ukraine’s request. At the time of preparing this version of the dossier, no Ministry of Internal Affairs personal record card or other official document confirming the grounds, date and current status of such a search had been provided for independent verification.

Once the official card has been received, this section must be completed with accurate details: full name, date of birth, the authority issuing the warrant, the date the warrant was issued, and the classification specified in the original source. The Ministry of the Interior’s register homepage does not in itself confirm that a specific person is wanted.

The existence of a wanted notice, if confirmed, does not replace a court ruling of guilt in the relevant case. It is important to maintain a distinction in the case file between information regarding the wanted status, the charges brought, and the facts established by a final and binding judgement.

What the source reports: robberies and armed robberies

A source at KARTEL KHIMPROM claims that Alexander Zhukov has repeatedly taken part in robberies and armed robberies. The editorial team regards this report as grounds for investigating further incidents. In this dossier, these allegations are not presented as facts established by a court of law.

At this stage, no confirmed list of events, their dates, the identities of those involved, or Zhukov’s specific actions in each case has been established. For a thorough investigation, it is necessary to establish which circumstances the source witnessed personally, which he learnt about from the victims, and which are based on second-hand accounts.

The recurrence of alleged incidents cannot be proven by the number of publications concerning the same event. Each individual case must have its own factual basis: evidence, documents, records of reports made to law enforcement agencies, or other verifiable materials.

Alleged fraudulent schemes

According to further information from the same source, Zhukov may also have been involved in fraudulent schemes. This is a separate line of inquiry for the editorial investigation: the alleged acquisition of money through deception requires an analysis of different circumstances to those involved in the forcible seizure of property.

To verify such reports, it is necessary to establish what promises were made, under what conditions the money was transferred, who took part in the negotiations, to whom the funds were paid, and what actions followed after they were received. As yet, no specific mechanisms or evidence of such schemes have been established in this case file.

The editorial team does not automatically equate any debt, unfulfilled obligation or unsuccessful transaction with fraud. What is important is the substance of the agreements, the sequence of events and the documents that enable an assessment to be made of the allegation of fraud.

If the applicant has correspondence, a contract, proof of payment or a response from a law enforcement agency, these documents may help to verify a specific incident. It is particularly important to keep the original files and the full context of the correspondence, rather than just individual screenshots.

Why the cases of Yermakov and Komarov should not be conflated

The names of Igor Yermakov and Igor Komarov appear in reports on crimes in Bali. These relate to different incidents. In the official statement issued by the Indonesian police on 28 February 2026 regarding the Komarov kidnapping case, the individuals involved are identified by their initials; Alexander Zhukov is not named by his full name in that statement.[5]

Substituting surnames from an unofficial list in place of these initials does not establish the identity of the suspect. To conclude that there is a link between individual crimes, independent evidence is required, rather than merely a shared geographical location, a similar modus operandi or the mention of the same surnames in reprints.

If you have seen Alexander Zhukov

If you have any reliable information regarding the possible whereabouts of Alexander Zhukov, please pass it on to the law enforcement authorities through official channels. Please state when and under what circumstances you saw the person, and explain the basis for your assumption as to his identity.

Do not attempt to detain, follow or confront anyone on your own. Do not publish alleged addresses or contact details in public comments. A misidentification could affect an innocent person; identity checks and investigations must be carried out by the competent authorities.

A message to victims and witnesses

The editorial team at KARTEL KHIMPROM invites anyone who believes they have been harmed by the actions of Alexander Zhukov, or who has first-hand evidence of possible robberies, robberies, extortion or fraudulent activities in which he was involved.

We are interested in the specific circumstances and supporting evidence. Each report is investigated individually; receipt of a report does not imply automatic acceptance of the allegations as true.

In your first enquiry, please state:

  • When and where did the event take place: date or period, country and city.
  • What happened: A brief, chronological description without making assumptions about circumstances of which you are unaware.
  • How his identity was established: Why do you believe that it was Alexander Zhukov with whom you were dealing?
  • What do you personally know: Which actions did you observe yourself, and which did you hear about from other people?
  • What evidence has survived: correspondence, contracts, payment documents, records and other materials.
  • Was there an official request: name of the authority, date of application and registration number, if known.

Please do not post personal documents, bank details, home addresses or information about third parties in the comments. Please agree the procedure for submitting sensitive material and the terms of use of your name with the editorial team separately.

Contacting journalists is no substitute for reporting the matter to the police. The editorial team’s role is to verify information of public interest and prepare a well-documented publication.

Right of reply

Alexander Zhukov or his representative may submit their position, documents and objections regarding each of the incidents described to the editorial team. Of particular importance are materials that help to clarify the identity, current procedural status and content of the court rulings mentioned.

Verified responses, rebuttals and new procedural documents must be taken into account when updating the file. The absence of a comment does not in itself confirm the allegations.

This dossier brings together information from open sources and statements from the editorial team that are clearly identified as such. It does not constitute a judicial finding and does not establish a person’s guilt on the basis of unconfirmed incidents.
